HODGA Clean – AN alkaline degreasing is made by spray, immersion or any manually dipping methods at elevated temperatures. Any contamination of oil and grease or paints etc over the steel will remove when treat in these baths of HODGA CLEAN an Alkaline degreaser powder which made with unique balance formulations of emulsifying additives and surface active agents etc which provides very efficient penetrating , loosening and lifting of various oils, greases & paints etc from the surface of steel or ferrous materials surface.
Generally, alkaline degreasers work at temperatures in the range of 50-65°C. Operating temperatures is very important, at lower temperatures time duration of cleaning reduces. Of course, these values are all depending on the type of grease/oil on the metal surface.
Operating time in immersion alkaline degreasing baths is between 10 – 45 minutes with a chemical concentration of % 5 – 10. Depending on type of the metal and type of grease/oil, treating time can vary. Bath concentration must be controlled periodically and total alkalinity must be maintained in optimum range by addition of chemicals.
